10-5-11
Charleston Stake Center
10hrs worked today
Work performed today:
Replaced insulation on outdoor AC units
Put second coat of paint on mechanical room door
Final touch up (adjusting closers, checking off the punchlist, cleaning light fixtures)
Worn out insulation
Worn out insulation
New insulation
New insulation
New insulation
Second coat of paint on mechanical room door
The only items remaining on the punchlist are things that we can't do right now. Items include a broken window in 109, new window in Institute room, light kit in class room. Stage doors have been adjusted as good as they can be. Door closers that will accept adjustment have been adjusted, however, most of these are worn and will not adjust. There is an item on the punchlist that says for us to wire brush and paint the gutter straps. This is gonna require more than wire brushing and painting. There are approximately 450 straps on the building. This would require sanding the straps without hitting the gutters with a sander. After they are painted, they are going to stand out from the gutters and then the gutters would possibly have to be painted. We were also informed that the roof is not tile, it's actually aluminum and bends very easily. Roof access is needed to get to the upper section of the building. There are also interior doors that need to be replaced, they have been repaired as good as they can be. Please advise if you want us to move on to the next building
